We are looking forward to our 5th grade students showcasing their competencies of a Spencer County Profile of a Learner!

The students had a great time learning from the Louisville Science Center today! Thank you to the parent volunteers who were instrumental in making this day a success!

Mrs. Burnsโ 1st Graders and Mrs. Huttโs 4th Graders were active collaborators today when they completed a buddy activity making bunny baskets.






Spencer county schools has countdown to kindergarten on Thursday from 5:00-6:30 at the high school! If your child is entering kindergarten next year, please join us! Kindergarten teachers and school staff would love to meet you!

Mr. Grayson Hedges was principal of the day yesterday! Our TES tigers were in great hands. His family bid on this at Spring Fling last year. Principal of the Day will be available to bid on at the auction next Friday!


Mrs. Hollan's class learned about 3D shapes this week. During this hands on lesson, students were being Active Collaborators as they worked together to see if the shape would slide or roll. Great job, Hollan's Heroes!

They rotated through 12 exciting career stations, learning directly from professionals who shared their experiences, tools of the trade, and the skills needed for success. From healthcare and culinary to marketing and public safety, our students got a real taste of what their futures could hold!

TES has Touch a Truck tomorrow! Please dress your child appropriately for the weather in the morning. They will need a jacket!

Third grade went on a field trip to Top Golf today! Leading up to the today, they collaborated with Mrs. Kidwell in STEM to learn about force and motion. Their investigations included explorations of magnets and force, how force can make objects move, and using a pendulum to measure pattens in motion.
