They rotated through 12 exciting career stations, learning directly from professionals who shared their experiences, tools of the trade, and the skills needed for success. From healthcare and culinary to marketing and public safety, our students got a real taste of what their futures could hold!

TES has Touch a Truck tomorrow! Please dress your child appropriately for the weather in the morning. They will need a jacket!


Third grade went on a field trip to Top Golf today! Leading up to the today, they collaborated with Mrs. Kidwell in STEM to learn about force and motion. Their investigations included explorations of magnets and force, how force can make objects move, and using a pendulum to measure pattens in motion.

Career Day dress-up will be Thursday April 10th


Ms. Potts first graders are taking on a responsibility challenge called โThe Peep Project.โ Students will be practicing their responsibility skills by taking care of a peep and making sure it comes to and from school with them. This will also encourage good behavior and participation during class time. Students will have to earn and pay โbunny moneyโ throughout the project and then will get to spend this money on fun prizes at the end of our project!

Great things are happening at TES in 2nd Grade!





Mrs Huttโs 4th graders are enjoying an interactive novel study of Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief. Today they were tasked with choosing which cabin they would fit best in and writing a narrative explaining their first day at Camp Half-Blood.








Mrs. Hollan's class had a surprise visit from a Louisville fire fighter. Michael Allgeier came in and talked to the class about fire safety and about the duties of a fire fighter. The students were very engaged and used their effective listening skills during the presentation. Way to go Hollan's Heroes!

Last Friday we had our 3rd Nine Weeks PBIS event! Thank you Wonder Wheels for putting on an amazing show for our students!


Mrs. Brooksโs 5th grade students were Empowered Learners! After reading Esperanza Rising, they chose two characters to analyze by creating a digital scrapbooks.
