Mrs. Johnsonโsย ย 2nd graders loved welcoming their grandparents in today . The class read a book called The Patchwork Quilt about a little girl who quiltsย ย with her grandmother. Mrs . Johnson shared some of her family quilts with the class and students made a quilt piece of their favorite memories with their grandparents & played bingo .ย ย The class canโt wait to see the finished product of their quilt put together.











5th graders in Mrs. Sanford's class got the opportunity to interview their grandparents during Grandparents' Day.

Mrs.Mac's class had a wonderful Grandparent's Day! They sang a special song, gave their guests a craft, and enjoyed lunch! The book fair was enjoyed by everyone!






Mrs. Browning's class had a special day with their grandparents. The students did a performance, gave their grandparents a gift, and interviewed them.











Mrs. Ingram and Mrs. Brentzelโs Cubs had so much fun with our grandparents today! We sang some songs, made a craft, and even got to dance with our guests!

Shout out to Bentley, Isaac, and Hadley in Mrs. Sanford's 5th grade class. These Cubs volunteered to help clean chalk off of the school walls and doors. Great job, 5th grade leaders!

Mrs. Barnett's & Mrs. Pollett's classes were Active Collaborators today! They rolled cars and measured the distance they traveled with meter sticks.

Grandparent's Week at Spencer County Elementary starts on Monday!
SCES welcomes the grandparents of our kindergarten and third grade Cubs on Monday.
Below is the time our visitors should arrive.
As a reminder lunch is $6 for adults and $4 for siblings. Please bring cash or check.
The bookfair will also be open Monday for those students and guests!
