The elementary schools have sent home midterms that may have looked different than what has been sent home in the past. We want to ensure all parents and guardians understand this new way of communicating the learning that is happening with your student. If students received an O on their midterm, that means that they are ON TARGET for their grade level and the expectation of learning. If they receive an A, that means they are ABOVE TARGET, and they are working above the expectation for learning. And finally, if they receive a B, that means they are working BELOW TARGET for the current learning, and teachers will be including more specifics in the comment section.
